It’s a Different World April – November 2004.
A collaboration between artists Debby Akam, Rick Faulkner and Peter Hatton, Salford Public Arts and The Kersal Vale Allotment and Horticultural Association. This process -led artist’s residency aimed to highlight the role and value of allotments in the context of national changes in food consumption and of local demographic changes. It
culminated in an intervention and exhibition of a three- part video: It’s a Different World (14 minutes DVD on three screens) at a celebratory event at the Lowry Hotel, Salford during the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, 2004.
